Finally some sunshine!!
Posted Fri, 01/13/2012 - 17:58Nevis Range: After weeks of rain, wind, and clag the sun finally made an appearance in good style today. Couldn't wait to get into the sunshine so headed straight for the summit. Wandered around lapping up the sunshine for a while then skied a super icy summit / spikes gully. Still loadsa snow over the back and traverse out still 'just' doable with a bit of rock hoppin and grass skiing.... Took a few photos just to remind myself that this is a pretty nice place once in a while - if only it sunshined and snowed more!

Posted Fri, 01/13/2012 - 18:07ha ha... aye, could not agree more! Not long to go hopefully and no doubt as soon as i leave the country the snow will arrive again in Scotland so I'll try and make it sooner rather than later for all concerned!

Posted Fri, 01/13/2012 - 18:21Er, front side not looking great - chair goose and summit only. Bottom of goose after getting off chair was... um... interesting! Suffice to say we didn't bother with a run on the top of it! Needs more snow but at least its still open, put it that way! To be honest i just really enjoyed getting out in the sunshine!
