When is it next going to snow in Scotland??
Posted Tue, 01/17/2012 - 20:50The title kinda says it all. I'm still hoping to come to Scotland for my first proper week of skiing, ever....at the end of Jan. Can someone who knows more about forecasting (and maybe has a working crystal ball 
) tell me when will the snow come back. I'm also shamelessly trying to get a t-shirt if there are still any left up for grabs??

Posted Wed, 01/18/2012 - 08:49Gonna get some snow tomorrow but doesn't look like being enough to change conditions much. Carol on breakfast weather says it's going to get colder again though from the weekend so fingers crossed that translates into more of the white stuff....

Posted Thu, 01/19/2012 - 09:51Snowed a bit last night but just a dusting really. Due for a bit more today/tomorrow so 'might' be a bit better by the weekend. Plenty of t-shirts left JennyT and we'll get more printed if we need to so keep posting! They're THE apres-ski fashion accessory of 2012!

Posted Thu, 01/19/2012 - 11:52Soulrider is right about a 'dusting'. Nevis Range today at about 10am.
There is actually a suprising amount of snow still in the Goose and over the back but getting to it and back out again is not easy.
Look at the sky though (it's not just my piss poor photography), there is snow in them thar clouds, so hopefully they give us some fresh today and overnight and I can post some 'before' and 'after' shots!

Posted Fri, 01/20/2012 - 17:45hi @JennyT - yep, visibility wasn't the best but it was nice skiing in the goose so you would have been fine. Hopefully we'll get some more snow over the next few days which will improve things too. Definitely needed an extra layer on today - it was cold!

Posted Fri, 01/20/2012 - 17:46Don't worry JennyT, the beginners area at Nevis Range has filled in quite nicely. The artifical matting is completely covered again, and will be groomed over the weekend. The only probably may be SEEING it if the mountain clagg persists!! :)
