Introduction

Falls Creek is the largest and one of the most popular ski resorts in the state of Victoria.  It is 356kms (around 4.5hrs drive) from Melbourne.  The resort has some of the best snow cover of all the ski resorts in Victoria due to its location and elevation.  There are 450ha of terrain for the skier and snowboarder.

Facilities and Services

Falls Creek has a whole range of accommodation to suit all budgets.  The resort offers extensive skiing, snowboarding and cross country opportunities.  There are all the usual services: equipment hire, lessons, shops and apres ski.  There is a Terrain Park with a halfpipe and series of obstacles set and re-set during the season. The Park is suitable for boarders and skiers of any ability as there are three courses pitched at beginners, intermediates and experts.

13kms from Falls Creek is the Bogong Rover Chalet which has it's own dedicated lift and skiing from the chalet.
