Fox Peak

"A fantastic club field in amazing scenery"

Skiing at Fox Peak, New Zealand

One of a number of fantastic club ski fields in New Zealand, Fox Peak is well worth a visit!  It's hard to describe what club field skiing is like to those who've never been - if you're going to start somewhere, then Fox Peak is as good as anywhere.  If you're skiing in NZ you have to try the club fields.

Classic access road, nutcracker tows, great vibe, no crowds, not to mention the terrain - for decent skiers wanting to explore, Fox Peak is well worth a visit.

Apart from the learner and intermediate slopes, Fox Peak leaves the snow un-groomed - music to the ears of good skiers everywhere!

Skiing at Fox Peak isn't just about skiing - look at the views!

There are four long rope tows (totalling over 2km in length!) giving access to 580 metres of vertical.  Fox Peak's season is mid-July to mid-September and as a tour around this part of New Zealand (perhaps along with Ohau and a visit to Mt Cook?) you should definately check it out!
