Introduction

Mount Thebarton Snow and Ice is a major tourist attraction in Adelaide, South Australia.  This is not a ski resort but provides an indoor ski and skating venue.  With Adelaide's distance from the main outdoor ski areas this gives a viable option for city dwellers wanting to get a year round snow fix. 

Facilities and Services

The venue has 120m ski slope and skating rink with the associated cafes and bars.  Some 200 tonnes or real snow are used and the slope is designed for beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders.
