Introduction

Perito Moreno is a really small resort ski area on the eastern slopes of Pico Mayor which has more lifts than runs!

The area is owned and operated by the Andino Piltriquitron club and is situated 25km northwest of El Bolson.  It was named after Francisco 'Perito' Moreno, an early surveyor and skier.

For the non-skier or boarder there are options for ice climbing and trekking.
